Authentic Bavarian Pretzels
Hand-Rolled • Traditionally Lye-Dipped • Baked Fresh in Grapevine & Frisco
A Real Bavarian Pretzel, Baked in North Texas
A true Bavarian pretzel gets its deep brown crust and unmistakable flavor from a quick dip in a lye bath before it goes into the oven. Ours are hand-rolled and lye-dipped the traditional way, from a recipe rooted in German tradition: chewy inside, deeply browned outside.
Like everything at BreadHaus, they're made from scratch with organic flour and no preservatives, dough conditioners or artificial additives. They're baked fresh daily at both of our bakeries, in Grapevine and in Frisco.

The Bavarian way is simple: split a pretzel and spread it with butter, or serve it alongside sausages and a good mustard. They also make a great sandwich roll, and a basket of them disappears fast at any gathering.
